The REESE 18 In. hitch box extension is designed to extend the distance between the tow vehicle and trailer. It is rated to carry a maximum of 400 Lb. tongue weight and 4,000 gross trailer capacity. When used with the weight distribution hitch, it is rated to carry a maximum of 600 Lb. tongue weight, and 6,500 Lb. of gross trailer capacity. Fits a 2 inc x 2 In. hitch box opening.
- The limiting factor is the capacity of your hitch. Using a hitch extender will reduce your hitch's overall capacity by 1/2.
- For use with 2 inch receivers only.
