Measuring 12" x 2", this left side (roadside) backing plate is rated for use on axles up to 7,000 lbs., making it suitable for a wide range of trailer applications. This kit comes fully assembled with a uni-servo hydraulic brake setup, including a wheel cylinder, brake shoes, springs, and all necessary hardware pre-installed for a straightforward installation process. As a bonus, the kit includes a 3" Rigid Hitch logo decal. Whether you're replacing worn components or upgrading your trailer's braking system, this backing plate kit delivers dependable performance you can count on.


NOTE:  Single backing plates do not come with the BHF5B hardware kit.

  • FULLY ASSEMBLED KIT: This uni-servo hydraulic brake backing plate comes pre-installed with a wheel cylinder, brake shoes, springs, for a straightforward installation. NOTE: 3/8" mounting hardware not included.
  • DIMENSIONS & RATING: Measures 12" x 2" and is rated for use on trailer axles up to 7,000 lbs., making it suitable for a wide range of trailer applications. Mounting flange bolt pattern: 5-Bolt on 3-7/8".
  • CENTER HOLE DIAMETER: Features a 3-1/4" center hole diameter, ensuring compatibility with standard trailer axle configurations.
  • LEFT SIDE / ROADSIDE: Designed specifically for the left side (roadside) of your trailer, providing precise fitment for your braking system.
  • INCLUDES BONUS DECAL: Each kit comes with a 3" Rigid Hitch logo decal, along with all required mounting hardware included in the package.
