The Dexter DX6.6 features the innovative "Drop N Go" latch mechanism, designed to make trailer hookup faster, safer, and more convenient than ever. Simply lower the coupler onto your hitch ball and the quick-lock system automatically engages, eliminating the need to manually secure the latch. This user-friendly design helps save time while ensuring a confident connection every time you tow.
Designed to fit a 2-inch hitch ball and mount directly onto a 3-inch trailer tongue, the actuator features a durable bolt-on installation that simplifies replacement and upgrades. With a 6,600 lb Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) rating and a 660 lb maximum tongue weight capacity, the DX6.6 is ideal for a variety of single and tandem axle trailer applications.
